The family of veteran investor and ASK Asset & Wealth Management Group co-founder Bharat Shah has acquired four luxury apartments in Kalpataru One, Worli.
Mumbai Real Estate: The family of veteran investor and ASK Wealth co-founder Bharat Shah has purchased four premium apartments in Mumbai's Worli for nearly ₹180 crore, according to property registration records accessed by Zapkey.
The homes are located in Kalpataru One, a luxury residential development by Kalpataru Properties. The latest transaction adds to the growing list of high-value property deals taking place in Worli.
The registration documents show that Preeti Bharat Shah and Kinnari Bharat Shah are the buyers of the four apartments.
The total value of the transaction is ₹179.41 crore, with each apartment costing close to ₹44.85 crore. The sale was registered on July 6, 2026.
The apartments were purchased at an average RERA carpet rate of around ₹1.01 lakh per sq ft.
Together, the four apartments offer a RERA carpet area of 17,689 sq ft, while the total usable area, including balconies, is around 19,056 sq ft.
Each apartment includes:
The buyers also received a total of 16 parking slots, with four spaces attached to each apartment.
The transaction attracted ₹8.97 crore in stamp duty.
Since the apartments were registered in the names of female buyers, the purchasers benefited from the 1% stamp duty concession offered by the Maharashtra government for women homebuyers.
Worli continues to be one of Mumbai's most premium residential locations. The area offers sea views, excellent connectivity, and quick access to business districts such as Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), Lower Parel, and Nariman Point.
Because of limited supply and strong demand, luxury homes in Worli continue to attract wealthy individuals and business families.
The Bharat Shah family purchase comes after several major luxury home transactions in the locality.
Recently, Radhi Girish Navani, wife of eClinicalWorks CEO Girish Navani, bought a luxury apartment in Worli for ₹162.2 crore.
Earlier this year, Tanya Dubash of the Godrej family purchased two sea-facing apartments in Worli for ₹294 crore. She had also bought a luxury duplex in the same project in 2025.
In another record-breaking transaction, Leena Gandhi Tewari, Chairperson of USV, acquired two sea-facing duplex apartments in Worli's Naman Xana for ₹639 crore. Including taxes and stamp duty, the overall deal crossed ₹700 crore, making it one of India's biggest residential property transactions.
Mumbai's luxury housing segment continues to witness healthy demand from high-net-worth individuals. Premium locations like Worli remain attractive because of their limited inventory, modern developments, and proximity to commercial hubs.
The latest purchase by the Bharat Shah family reflects the continued interest in luxury homes despite rising property prices, reinforcing Worli's position as one of India's leading high-end residential markets.
